Physical infrastructure refers to transportation networks, power grid, sewerage and waste disposal systems.
Infrastructure shapes human society and, in turn, society shapes the infrastructure in ways that will empower growth. The term came in United States during the 1980s on the “infrastructure crisis.” It was thought to have been caused by poor maintenance and a lack of funding regarding public works projects. The basis for development is infrastructure; whether services for human infrastructure (health, education, nutrition) or physical infrastructure (transport, energy, water). Although the infrastructure is varied, these services are provided and financed in almost all countries, critical for economic growth and the reduction of poverty. Rural education and health clinics, is the poor use of scarce resources, leading to low quality, students learning little, irregular power and water flows, poor maintenance (rundown roads), and unfitting contribution on too many school administrators or health workers and not enough books or drugs in producing education health outcomes, also this creates and dependability. Health and education are traditionally provided free and some argue for positive higher stages of service. The principle of public pricing has been more widely accepted in transport, energy, and water, but often the levels are too low and do not provide the proper reasons |
